Sol de Castilla stud started its activity within the horse world in the 1990s. Since the beginning the focus of the breeding program was based on searching for horses with race, elegance and with excellent conformation & movements…everything within our maximum: the good character.

Our horses are characterized by their nobility, ease of treatment and sports projection. We have always been very careful in the stallions selection. Breeding takes place in extensive regime until the age of three years old, when the fillies become part of breeding mares group and the colts begin their training programs, mainly in the discipline of dressage, but without neglecting vaquera dressage and carrying.

We follow the Clasic horse training method, staring with the Basic principles, consolidating a good base letting the horse develop by itself, with no hurry, with it own proper conditions, across the training scale program. The objective is to breed and prepare each one for providing a high and recognized quality horse for our clients, and this only happens taking care of all details since the very beginning.

Sol de Castilla stud philosophy starts from a crystal clear relationship with our clients, and this includes an advisor purchase service considering individual client requirements. As a result, we offer a wide experience of the Team in the breeding area as well as our dept knowledge of the market with the idea to find the right horse for each client if it was not available in our stud. 

We take care of Vet checks, export paperwork, transport, accommodations, etc…you will just need to let us know what you are looking for and we will provide you with several options that will fulfil your expectative.
